Every car lover is aware of the significance of Bentley Motors Limited in the automobile industry. This Company was founded in 1919 during World War I by W.O. Bentley. This brand has presented number of successful motors but the one which is clearly a stand out is Bentley Turbo R.
Bentley Turbo R has remained the best selling brand for years. Although in 1985, it was initially introduced in Geneva Auto Show but for some reasons Bentley Turbo R was marketed and officially launched in American market only after 1988.

The car was produced in between 1985 to 1997 and at the time of its inauguration, Bentley Turbo R was equipped with plenty of advanced features. Some of them were Panhard rod which is like a retuned suspension to minimize side to side movement, tuned dampers, fuel injection system that added more torque to the car and many more.

Without any doubt, Bentley Turbo R was considered as a truly high performance vehicle. With features like comfort, luxury and style, all the class conscious people preferred to have Bentley Turbo R as their first choice. In addition to the above, this car was designed with a V8 turbocharged 6.75 liter engine. The special thing about that engine was its tendency to boost the vehicle from 0-60 mph in just about 6.7 seconds. The car was able to achieve a maximum speed of 152 mph.

Keeping in view the huge success of this car in the masses, the Bentley Company introduced short lived New Turbo R in the year 1995. A 4 speed auto transmission and Zytek fuel injection were the part of this new version. Bentley Turbo R is clearly rated as a trend setter motorcar as after its introduction many other automobile companies had followed the same technology employed by the Bentley.
